The Temple was made of big white stones, trimmed with shining gold.
There were big pillars and high towers.
There were wide porches, with benches where people could sit.

God loves us.
God sent His son for our salvation.
Jesus died on the cross for our sins and then Jesus arose after three days, and Jesus went up to Heaven.


Just before Jesus went up to Heaven, Jesus told His disciples to go and tell everybody about Him.
Jesus said that they should baptize all who would believe in Him.


There are three special things that the minister of a church must do.
The minister must preach God's Word, especially telling people about Jesus.
The minister must baptize, And the minister must also serve the Lord's Supper.


All three help us to learn more about God, and to grow more and more like Jesus.
That is what every Christian must do!

How sin came into the world?

You must have a new hope

God's children are really very happy people, because they know that Jesus loves them.
But sometimes God's children have to suffer for the sake of the Lord Jesus.
Very many of God's people have suffered for Jesus' sake and some have even been martyred and killed.


After Jesus had gone to Heaven.
His disciples began to tell people how Jesus died for their sins.
Many people began to believe in Jesus Christ.
They became Christians.


In the book of Acts we read of Stephen.
He was a fine young man.
He heard the disciples tell the story of Jesus, and he became a believer.
Stephen loved Jesus. The Holy Spirit filled Stephen's heart so much that he loved the Lord so very much.

You must think about God

Let me ask you a question:
Have you heard about David, the shepherd boy of the Old Testament?
The Bible tells us about David.
He took care of his Father's sheep when he was just a boy.


David would take the sheep far from home, in order to find green grass for them to feed on.
Sometimes he took them to a green valley between with hills.
And He watched over his sheep all day.


When they were thirsty, he led them to still waters in order to get a drink.
He always watched to see that there would be no bears, no lions nearby, any animal that would catch a sheep or a lamb in order to kill them.

Sometimes, when the sheep rested, David had time to sit down.
Then he would take his little harp and begin to play.

You must obey God

The people were happy when God made him king.


One day, Samuel, God's prophet, said to Saul,

They have been wicked and cruel.
When you win the battle, you must not keep any of the sheep or the camels or the other animals. You must kill them all."


Saul called his soldiers together, and they went away to war.
God used Saul to punish these wicked people of Amalek.
Saul and his soldiers won the battle, and they were very happy.


But at night God spoke to Samuel.
God said, "Saul did not obey Me."

He had such a beautiful and wonderful home, but he was not happy there.
He did not love his father.


One day, the young man said to his father, "Give me all that will be mine after you die."

Isaiah was one of God's great prophets.
God often spoke to Isaiah. God told Isaiah to tell God's people that someday a wonderful savior would come.


One day, God spoke to Isaiah in a vision.
A vision is something like a dream. In that vision Isaiah saw the Lord sitting upon a throne. His robe filled the temple. And above Hime there were seraphim. Seraphim are shining heavenly creatures.


Isaiah saw that each of the seraphim had six wings. With two wings he coverd his face, with two wings he coverd his face, with two he covered feet, and with two he used to fly. These wonderful seraphim called to each other.

It was a great pleasure of mine when I met Pastor Chung in the United States and he asked me to participate in this great project of Christian Sermons.

The Messages are designed to minister to the old and the young alike, as well as to males and females. To those who have never accepted Jesus Christ as their personal Savior, these massages will present the simplicity of the Gospel in a way that even a child or those not familiar with God's plan of salvation can understand. The broad subject matter of Christian doctrines presented touch on all commonly held Christian beliefs.

It is certainly our prayer and desire that God will use these sermons around the world to encourage believers and bring many peoploe to the saving knowledge of Jesus Christ.
