You must love one another

"Love one another, even as I have loved you." (John 15:12)

Let me ask you.
Who is the person that you respect more than anyone else?
Who has loved you more than anyone else in your life?
Who is your favorite relative, aunt or uncle, or cousin?
When you were playing a game, did you ever say, "O, me first, me first" ?


Of course, you know that's not nice to say.
Now, why is it not good and nice to say, "Me first?"
The reason is because, when you say, "Me first!" you are being selfish.
You are loving yourself first and the best.


And it is not right.
It is naughty to be selfish and self-centered to love yourself more than others.


My friend!
God says we must love Him first and foremost.

If we love Him, our desire is to make Him happy.
We will try to do what He wants us to do.


But how can we know what He wants us to do?
Well, we have God's law the Ten Commandments.
And they tell us to love God and love our neighbors. The Holy Spirit is living in our hearts.


The Holy Spirit will tell us what God wants us to do.
The Holy Spirit guides us into doing God's will just as He guided Jesus and the disciples of our Lord, The Holy Spirit will guide everybody who loves Jesus.

God made you good

Every boy and every girl has a name. I have a name, you have a name.
If someone asks "Who are you?", you tell them your name. Your name tells who you are.


Mother uses your name when she calls you.
Father uses your name when he talks to you.
Teacher uses your name when he talks to you.
Your name means you. Your name identifies you.


If mother calls your name, someone else does not have to answer. If mother calls someone else, you do not have to answer.


My friends!
God's name tells us who God is. God's name identifies who our God is, but God has many names.
